📋 Description

• Serve as lead legal advisor to the CEO and executive team, with a focus on supporting the commercial organization • Act as a thought partner and lead negotiator in complex enterprise deals with sales, customer success, and finance teams • Support pricing and packaging for complex SaaS contracts with the CFO and commercial leaders • Participate in board meetings and advise the Board of Directors and committees as requested • Advise on corporate governance, legal documentation, and compliance programs including HITRUST and SOC 2 • Lead and develop a small, hands-on legal and compliance team • Use AI tools to accelerate legal and contracting work

🎯 Requirements

• Head of Legal or comparable senior in-house legal experience • Deep commercial and enterprise contracting experience, including complex enterprise deals in a highly regulated environment • Hands-on execution orientation and comfort operating without a large team • Demonstrated strategic problem-solving in real business situations • Business-minded judgment balancing legal risk against commercial goals • Comfort and enthusiasm using AI tools such as Claude • JD from an accredited law school • Active license to practice law • Must be eligible to be employed in the U.S. and reside and work in the continental U.S. • Required experience with contract lifecycle management and e-signature tools such as LinkSquares, DocuSign, and Salesforce
