• Lead customer power architecture development, including power tree design, device selection, and system optimization • Perform technical design reviews, root-cause analysis, and hands-on debugging for analog and power issues • Drive new product evaluations and competitive positioning for Renesas power and analog products • Execute lab work including board bring-up, measurement, validation, and failure analysis • Support system-level integration across power, processor, and connectivity subsystems • Provide technical guidance to customers from concept through production • Deliver field feedback to product divisions to influence roadmaps and feature prioritization • Develop and present customer training, technical seminars, and internal enablement content • Establish relationships with sales, FAEs, and distribution as the regional power/analog expert • Partner with product marketing and business-unit teams • Lead customers through power design challenges from architecture through production readiness • Support cross-functional engagements involving MCU/MPU, AI, and connectivity platforms • Deliver technical presentations, training, and design workshops • Travel as needed for key customer engagements, approximately 10–20%
• Must be located in New England; Boston area preferred • BS in Electrical Engineering required; MSEE preferred • 3+ years of experience in analog and power electronics • Expertise in power conversion and management, including buck/boost converters, PMICs, and LDOs • Knowledge of power tree sequencing and optimization • Experience with battery-powered system design, including fuel gauging, charging, and protection • Strong understanding of analog signal chains, including amplifiers, data converters, sensors, and filtering • Knowledge of noise, stability, and signal integrity considerations • Experience with system-level power architecture design • Experience reviewing schematics and PCB layouts, particularly for power integrity and thermal considerations • Experience with bench characterization, validation, and power-system debugging • Understanding of power interactions with MCUs/MPUs, DDR, high-speed interfaces, and connectivity subsystems • Hands-on proficiency with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal analysis, and transient-response measurements • Strong customer-facing technical communication skills • Self-driven, highly collaborative, and able to own complex technical engagements • Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 10–20%
