📋 Description

• Serve as technical lead for power and analog solutions supporting customer system-level design engagements • Lead customer power architecture development, including power tree design, device selection, and system optimization • Perform technical design reviews, root-cause analysis, and hands-on debugging of analog and power issues • Drive new product evaluations and competitive positioning for Renesas power and analog products • Execute lab work including board bring-up, measurement, validation, and failure analysis • Support system-level integration across power, processor, and connectivity subsystems • Provide technical guidance to customers from concept through production revenue • Deliver field feedback to product divisions to influence roadmaps, feature prioritization, and system solution gaps • Develop and present customer training, technical seminars, design workshops, and internal enablement content • Establish relationships with sales, FAEs, and distribution as the regional power/analog expert • Partner with product marketing and business-unit teams to align field needs with product roadmaps • Support cross-functional engagements where power is a critical system dependency • Travel to support key customer engagements as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Must be located in New England; Boston area preferred • BS Electrical Engineering required; MSEE preferred • 3+ years of experience in Analog and Power Electronics • Expertise in power conversion and management, including buck/boost converters, PMICs, LDOs, power tree sequencing, battery-powered system design, fuel gauging, charging, and protection • Strong understanding of analog signal chain, including amplifiers, data converters, sensors, filtering, noise, stability, and signal integrity • Experience with system-level power architecture design, schematic and PCB layout review, bench characterization, validation, and power-system debugging • Understanding of power interactions with MCUs/MPUs, DDR, high-speed interfaces, and connectivity subsystems • Hands-on proficiency with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, thermal analysis, and transient response measurements • Strong communication skills for translating technical content into customer-facing solutions • Self-driven, highly collaborative, and able to own complex technical engagements • Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 10–20% or less • May be subject to U.S. export control regulations and licensing requirements
