Renew Digital is a specialized retailer and refurbisher of dental imaging equipment that sells certified pre-owned and new panoramic, cephalometric, cone beam (CBCT) and intraoral scanners. The company offers financing, trade-in/buyback programs, installation, training, warranties and ongoing support, and sells systems from leading dental imaging brands to dental and orthodontic practices. Renew Digital operates an online storefront with highlighted deals, inventory listings, and resources for dental professionals.

📋 Description

• Perform on-site acquisition, installation, service, and support of dental digital equipment in dental and specialty practices nationwide • Install, remove, and/or certify new and certified pre-owned panoramic X-ray and cone beam equipment and related computers • Conduct calibration and performance testing to validate installation quality • Install and service dental surgical microscopes • Train small groups of staff on basic equipment, hardware operations, and software • Support technician knowledge growth through co-travel certifications • Manage third-party helpers by assigning and monitoring tasks • Conduct performance tests on purchased equipment to ensure proper quality and condition • Maintain tools and test equipment properly • Facilitate installation of capital equipment, electrical connections, and low-voltage connections using construction knowledge and power/hand tools • Troubleshoot equipment, computers, software, and connectivity issues • Work independently on assigned jobs or under senior technician guidance depending on experience level

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Technical training or industry-specific dental experience in digital CBCT desired • Basic understanding of Windows OS and general networking • Handyman acumen and comfort using power and hand tools • Excellent communication skills — clear, calm, and professional on phone and email • Curiosity and willingness to learn new products, systems, and technologies • Positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to helping others succeed • Experience installing medical or dental equipment and imaging systems is a bonus • Graduate of electronics/technology program, MCSE or equivalent is a bonus • Proven component-level troubleshooting is a bonus • Previous experience in the dental, surgical, or medical device industry is a bonus • Understanding of residential and commercial building/construction methods is a plus • Military technical training, veteran status, or prior military experience in relevant technical fields is highly valued and may be considered relevant experience • Ability to travel primarily for regional-based travel • Occasional weekend or holiday travel may be requested • Live no more than one hour from a major airport • Ability to travel with tools and/or parts for installation or service • Ability to lift 100 pounds • Valid driver's license • Ability to obtain a passport if travel outside the US is necessary (rare)
