📋 Description

• Provide analysis and estimate approval for construction projects • Ensure proposed plans and estimates comply with property standards • Assess whether constructed buildings conform to specifications and estimates of materials and costs • Apply practical knowledge of construction techniques and specifications to existing or proposed housing • Review and approve contractor estimates • Track and record job cost variances • Gather photo documentation for all estimates • Load documentation into various owner portals for approval • Value engineer estimates • Coach and educate estimators regarding client requirements • Assist on other construction/acquisition projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education • 1–2 years of relevant experience in the building and construction field • Demonstrated strong proficiency in MS Excel • Knowledge of construction practices and labor costs in construction • Good knowledge of the uses and costs of materials • Proficient in construction-related software • Strong knowledge of Excel • Ability to multitask, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and quality • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Process improvement-oriented mindset • Ability to manage competing priorities in a professional manner • Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision • Curiosity and desire to solve problems • Results-oriented and able to adapt to a changing environment
