📋 Description

• Lead the development of cost estimates for government projects including civil, industrial, and infrastructure work • Utilize InEight software to manage estimates, create cost databases, and generate bid proposals • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and related documents to determine project scope and technical requirements • Review RFQs, RFPs, and bid solicitations for compliance with FAR/DFARS and other government regulations • Perform detailed quantity take-offs, material pricing, labor analysis, and subcontractor evaluations • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify risk factors, value engineering opportunities, and project efficiencies • Prepare cost summaries and reports for executive review and client submission • Participate in bid reviews, negotiation meetings, and project handoffs • Maintain and update estimating standards, pricing data, and historical cost records within InEight • Ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance throughout all estimating processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years of estimating experience in construction, preferably with federal or public sector projects • Strong proficiency with InEight Cost, Estimate, and Project Controls modules • Proven track record of successful bids in government contracting environments • In-depth understanding of FAR/DFARS, prevailing wage, and contract compliance requirements • Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications, and technical documents • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Experience working cross-functionally with project managers, procurement, and clients
