📋 Description

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls • Negotiate payment arrangements for consumers with past-due medical balances • Meet and exceed quality, compliance, and collection metrics • Maintain accurate account documentation and notes in real time • Build trust through active listening, empathy, and professional communication • Overcome objections and develop skills for handling complex objections • Suggest potential resources for debt repayment • Use the auto-dialer, approved scripts, and approved language • Ensure compliance with the FDCPA, state laws, and other regulations • Learn and operate collection systems and software

🎯 Requirements

• Stable call center experience • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, using proper grammar and telephone etiquette • Ability to navigate multiple computer applications and databases • Ability to multitask while using the telephone and multiple computer systems • Ability to overcome objections and successfully negotiate payments • Dependable and responsible • Punctual and able to use time productively • Professional judgment • Understanding of and ability to maintain the confidentiality of SPI, sensitive consumer information, and PHI • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations • Self-motivated and committed to professional success • Willingness and ability to obtain PCS certification within the first year of employment; certification is company-paid • Fluency in reading, writing, and conversational Spanish is a plus • High school diploma or GED equivalent required • Ability to successfully complete the collector training program • Must pass initial and annual criminal background and employment verification checks
