• Lead engaging online tutoring sessions using Revolution Prep's curriculum and resources • Teach SAT and ACT test preparation • Teach high-school mathematics through Algebra II • Teach executive function skills such as organization, planning, time management and study strategies • Teach additional subjects based on expertise and company needs • Prepare for sessions using company-provided materials • Communicate with students and families about academic progress • Build supportive relationships that motivate students to reach their goals • Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development • Collaborate with Faculty Leaders and fellow tutors to improve teaching • Complete administrative and family communication responsibilities comprising around 10% of workload
• Bachelor's degree required • At least 1 year of professional teaching or tutoring experience • Comfortable teaching math through Algebra II • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to explain challenging concepts clearly and patiently • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment • Authorized to work in the U.S. and currently residing in the U.S. • Consistent weekly schedule and minimum 38 hours of availability, including evenings and weekends • At least 8 hours of weekend availability • Minimum one-year employment commitment • Mac or PC desktop/laptop • Reliable high-speed internet with an Ethernet connection • At least 4GB available RAM • Quiet, professional workspace suitable for online instruction • Required approximately 30-minute assessment • Comprehensive background check for candidates who advance • SAT/ACT tutoring or test-preparation experience is a plus • AP STEM subject expertise is a plus
