📋 Description

• Oversee production of technical reports, manuals, and other documents • Review team deliverables for quality and responsiveness and recommend improvements • Plan and oversee major documentation sets • Assign writing tasks and align content with scope and stakeholder needs • Monitor schedules and budgets and guide team output • Set and enforce editorial standards and conduct final-level reviews • Implement corrective actions for content issues • Ensure regulatory and contract compliance • Lead communications for documentation projects • Prepare and review status reports and technical memos • Monitor and report on project progress and keep stakeholders informed • Maintain completeness, timeliness, and quality of finished products • Analyze documentation needs and content effectiveness using feedback and data • Lead technical documentation and publication processes • Improve editorial workflows and streamline team workflows • Build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders • Coordinate cross-departmental efforts • Mentor team members and manage complex tasks independently • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • 6+ years of relevant experience • 2 years of medical or consumer health writing and copy-editing experience • Ability to produce complex technical writing and documentation related to medical or consumer health • Ability to conduct research to draft accurate and appropriate written content • Excellent grammatical/punctuation skills • Ability to edit materials to meet client needs and comply with style guides • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute instructions • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office productivity software • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint • Must reside in a U.S. location where Ripple Effect is authorized to employ staff • Ripple Effect is currently unable to employ individuals whose primary residence is in California, New York, or Puerto Rico • Degree in a science or health field, especially experience working on projects focused on HIV/AIDS • Proficiency in 508 compliance • Certification(s) in writing or editing • Experience with federal government contracting, especially NIH • Intermediate experience with AI tools, including their limitations, risks, and project-management applications
