📋 Description

• Architect and develop new features and products in the Elixir codebase powering web applications and API • Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and scope projects and initiatives • Present innovative solutions to senior leadership and align engineering initiatives with company goals • Solve ambiguous technical and business problems while ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability • Ship high-quality, well-tested code • Participate in code reviews • Mentor team members and foster a culture of excellence • Proactively identify and eliminate technical roadblocks

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering • Experience designing, building, and maintaining production services at scale • Understanding of how to build reliable systems • Ability to write high-quality, reliable code and take ownership of systems • Experience developing solutions to ambiguous problems • Deep understanding of web and database fundamentals • Desire to mentor and lift up other team members • Excellent written and spoken communication skills • Experience with Elixir, React, Kubernetes, and Postgres (nice to have) • Fintech experience (nice to have) • Experience at a rapidly scaling company (nice to have) • Interest in Bitcoin (nice to have) • Must be located in the Americas or Europe • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
