📋 Description

• Lead advanced data analysis to identify complex trends, risks, and opportunities • Deliver advanced forecasting, scenario, and comparative analysis • Provide recommendations that influence long-term organizational objectives and member outcomes • Prepare and transform data using KNIME, Microsoft Fabric, Python, SQL queries, data validation, and troubleshooting • Serve as a trusted analytics advisor to business leaders and cross-functional partners • Lead complex requirements discussions and integrate data sources across domains • Frame tradeoffs, risks, and expected business impact for prioritization decisions • Lead requirements definition and gap analysis for complex and enterprise-level data sets • Evaluate and validate new data sources for scalability, quality, and reuse • Partner with Data Engineers and Data Scientists on data aggregation, transformation, and modeling • Drive improvements in data quality, governance, and data lifecycle management • Champion self-service analytics and improve data accessibility, usability, and adoption • Train and support power users and mentor BI Analysts • Translate business requirements into technical specifications • Recommend ways to operationalize data through tools and solutions that improve service delivery and member engagement • Identify process improvements and support analytics solution adoption • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies • Perform other duties as assigned • Travel to all credit union regions may be required

🎯 Requirements

• Five years to eight years of similar or related experience • Experience evaluating business needs and user requirements in a related position • Three to five years of experience in a financial services environment preferred • Awareness of accounting principles and financial statements preferred • A master's degree, or a bachelor's degree plus professional certification (e.g., CPA) • Extensive experience with SQL and relational database systems such as DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server • Experience with data warehouse environments • Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts • Experience with R and/or Python for data analysis • Familiarity with ETL and BI tools • Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, and Sisense • Working knowledge of programming/scripting concepts and the software development life cycle • Ability to adjust or move objects up to 30 pounds • Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods • Ability to communicate and exchange information • Ability to receive detailed oral information and make fine discernments in sound • Close and continuous visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer terminals, and extensive reading • Must complete a drug screening test within 48 hours of employment offer
