📋 Description

• Participate in monthly engagement seminars • Complete Raytheon-required training • Participate in security clearance activities • Meet with a mentor • Spend 2–4 hours per month supporting co-op activities • Learn customer domain-specific mission concepts and technologies • Learn systems engineering principles related to requirements, architecture, design, and test • Learn software engineering approaches, artificial intelligence, and agile development techniques • Learn platform and software infrastructure basics, including continuous integration and continuous delivery • Transition upon graduation and clearance approval to a full-time onsite position in Aurora, Colorado supporting the design, development, and maintenance of systems for customers’ missions • This co-op does not include internship or direct program/project work

🎯 Requirements

• Senior or postgraduate student graduating/completing studies in December 2027 • Computer Science or related STEM major • Academic or internship experience with hands-on testing of electronic equipment • Exposure to troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic, internship, or hobby setting • Exposure to data analysis using tools such as MATLAB • U.S. citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • Active and existing DoD TS/SCI security clearance required after day 1 • Specific major in Systems Engineering or related scientific/STEM discipline preferred • Proficiency with Windows and UNIX platforms preferred • Experience with Perl, Python, VBA, and/or other scripting languages preferred • Exposure to Agile Development Principles preferred • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite preferred • Previous internship experience preferred • Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle, roles, and functions preferred • Basic engineering skills and interest in how systems are developed and function preferred • Ability to work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories
