📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end procurement process from vendor sourcing through purchase-order closure after payment • Identify qualified vendors while ensuring ITAR and Controlled Goods compliance • Secure Non-Disclosure or Proprietary Information Agreements before releasing drawings or controlled documents when necessary • Prepare and issue RFQs, validate quotation compliance, and compare pricing and delivery to select optimal sources • Create and manage purchase orders in compliance with contractual and quality terms • Monitor purchase orders, ensure timely delivery, and address delays, service issues, and financial impacts • Maintain electronic records, generate weekly progress reports, and monitor metrics • Contribute to procurement strategies, department procedures, and supply-chain process improvements • Reconcile purchase and invoice discrepancies • Participate in department and operational meetings, coordinate vendor issues, and support compliance reporting • Maintain data discipline in the SCM MRP/ERP environment • Build positive and ethical customer and vendor relationships • Follow workplace operating, environmental health, and safety procedures and guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years experience • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations • SAP experience • Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing data and determine proposal compliance (FAR 15.4) • Knowledge/compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal • Strong understanding of the Supply Chain lifecycle and roles/responsibilities at different project stages • Understanding of preparation, negotiation, and monitoring of purchasing agreements and terms and conditions • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Understanding of purchasing concepts, negotiation tactics/techniques, and material management principles • Ability to source hard-to-find materials using multiple supply sources • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with high attention to detail • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and manage a high volume of work efficiently • Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment • U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract
