• Manage supplier quality performance through prevention, monitoring/escalation processes, and processing supplier submissions of nonconforming material • Manage and support supplier onboarding and qualification/certification • Manage source inspection and material release processes • Perform escape management procedures • Drive root cause analysis and problem solving • Recommend corrective and preventive actions for systemic supplier process and product material issues • Support RTX supplier programs to ensure continuous improvement and sustainability • Analyze quality data to identify systemic issues • Develop supplier-specific quality initiative strategies using PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, SPC, and related quality tools • Drive implementation of supplier quality initiatives • Ensure suppliers can meet contract requirements, including Resourcing Gate, PPAP acceptance, and Work Transfer implementation • Influence stakeholders to follow ideas and proposals • Build effective cross-functional teamwork • Travel up to 50%
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience • Background in Electronics • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to speak effectively with internal and external executives and employees • 6+ years of professional experience in a supply chain operations environment, including monitoring, auditing, or developing suppliers/operations, or equivalent • Knowledge of system standards, authorities/regulations/standards, QMS, auditing/assessing, and risk management preferred • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred • IPC standards certification preferred • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or similar field preferred • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education • Must be a U.S. Person • Security clearance is not required • Willingness to travel up to 50%
