• Explore the aerospace and defense industry through Raytheon Operations, Supply Chain & Quality • Expand knowledge of Operations, Supply Chain & Quality during the summer internship • Collaborate with customers, Program Management Office, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance • Place purchase orders of low to medium dollar levels and procurement complexity • Manage supplier relationships, development, and performance • Prepare solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, and IDIQs • Analyze quotations and proposals using price/cost analysis techniques • Drive success for metrics • Gain exposure to leadership
• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Industrial and Labor Relations, Supply Chain management or closely related business major • Must be actively enrolled through completion of the internship/co-op session • Experience with Supply Chain processes and tools • Experience with Microsoft Office tools • U.S. citizenship is required • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects • Preferred: Experience in Supply Chain within a Defense Contracting environment • Preferred: Experience with SAP/PRISM • Preferred: Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience
