📋 Description

• Manage Supplier Quality & Development processes and projects as an individual contributor • Provide input on supplier qualification/certification, assessment, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution • Manage supplier quality performance through prevention, monitoring/escalation, and nonconforming material submission processes • Support supplier onboarding and qualification/certification • Manage source inspection and material release processes • Drive escape management, root cause analysis, problem solving, and corrective/preventive actions • Analyze quality data to identify systemic issues and develop supplier-specific quality initiative strategies • Implement PFMEA, MSA, process flow and control plans, SPC, and other quality tools • Ensure suppliers meet contract requirements, including Resourcing Gate, PPAP acceptance, and Work Transfer implementation • Deploy Business Continuity management methodology at RTX suppliers • Establish projects to achieve quality-at-rate sustainability and supplier performance targets • Provide voice of the customer input and identify supplier weaknesses, capabilities, capacities, and improvement areas • Deploy GSQ TT tools, including Gemba walks, MPR, Quality Improvement Plans, Control Towers, LEAN, and Six Sigma • Communicate recovery plans to key stakeholders, leadership, and customers • Define and manage Supplier Transformation Projects • Support Strategic Sourcing commodities with supply chain strategy inputs • Develop quality mindset, continuous improvement, and preventive KPIs • Manage moderately sized projects or processes as a subject-matter expert • Provide guidance for Red-X and 8D root cause analysis and problem solving • Manage Correction Action Boards/DQ Clinics with suppliers • Drive support for the RTX ZERO program • Review processes and metrics for work transfer and process change management requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations • 8+ years of professional experience in a supply chain operations environment or equivalent • Experience in quality regulations and quality core tools • Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) • Experience with QMS, including AS 9100 and ISO 9001 • Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial engineering preferred • Practical problem solving and international management experience preferred • Experience with FAA, TC, and EASA preferred • Auditing/assessing, risk management, and continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma) experience desirable • Green Belt/Black Belt certification and CPIM certification desirable • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to define and establish performance management supporting business objectives and deliverables • Ability to establish and manage a culture of continuous improvement • Ability to persuade stakeholders to follow ideas and proposals • Ability to build effective cross-functional teamwork • Ability to work in a multicultural context • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally
