• Support planning and execution of analysis, integration, and verification • Troubleshoot test activities in labs or OPS environments • Support failure data analyses, including root-cause and corrective-action processes, using advanced lab or field test equipment • Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations using analysis tools such as MATLAB • Support preparation and presentation of results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders • Support hardware testing and troubleshooting • Support root-cause analysis and implement minor design changes • Maintain engineering specifications, drawings, and engineering databases • Participate in engineering tag-ups and meetings among Program, Systems Engineering, and the Chief Engineer • Resolve and coordinate system technical solutions with Engineering teams • Participate in team, interface teleconference, and working group meetings • Support mockup hardware, sustainment/depot returns, and repair • After comprehensive on-the-job training, support RF Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Systems Integration & Test activities across the product development lifecycle
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Masters’s degree in Electrical Engineering • Expected graduation date of May 2027 or August 2027 • Academic or internship experience including hands-on testing of electronic equipment • Exposure to troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic, internship, or hobby setting • Experience using common commercial test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators • Exposure to data analysis using tools such as MATLAB • Experience with Microsoft Office, Ansys HFSS, or Python for data analysis and automation • U.S. citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance • Active and existing DoD Top Secret security clearance required after day 1 • Proficient use of Windows or UNIX platforms preferred • Experience with Perl, Python, VBA, and/or other scripting languages preferred • Exposure to Agile Development Principles preferred • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite preferred • Previous internship experience preferred • Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols preferred • Exposure to reflector system design, antenna feed design, solid state amplifier performance parameters, and high power tube amplifier technology preferred • Exposure to instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including scripting or automation for data collection and analysis, preferred • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities preferred • Basic engineering skills and interest in how systems are developed and function preferred • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment preferred • Ability to work effectively with others preferred
