📋 Description

• Support planning and execution of analysis, integration, and verification • Troubleshoot test activities in labs or OPS environments • Support failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes using advanced lab or field test equipment • Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations using analysis tools such as MATLAB • Support preparation and presentation of results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders • Support testing and troubleshooting of hardware • Support root-cause analysis and implement minor design changes • Maintain engineering specifications, drawings, and engineering databases • Participate in engineering tag-ups and meetings between the Program, System Engineering, and Chief Engineer • Resolve and coordinate system technical solutions with Engineering teams • Participate in team, interface teleconference, and working group meetings • Support mockup hardware, sustainment/depot returns, and repair • After comprehensive on-the-job training, support RF Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Systems Integration & Test activities across the product development lifecycle • Complete a Co-op Program Agreement and SF-86 security clearance paperwork upon selection • Maintain eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance throughout the program and subsequent employment • May be considered for a full-time onsite role in Aurora, Colorado after completing degree, program, and clearance requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Masters’s degree in Electrical Engineering with an expected graduation date of May 2027 or August 2027 • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance • Active and existing DoD Top Secret security clearance required after day 1 • Academic or internship experience including hands-on testing of electronic equipment • Exposure to troubleshooting technical issues with electronics using common commercial test equipment, including oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and signal generator • Exposure to data analysis using tools such as MATLAB • Experience with Microsoft Office, Ansys HFSS, or Python for data analysis and automation • Proficient use of Windows or UNIX platforms • Experience with Perl, Python, VBA, and/or other scripting languages • Exposure to Agile Development Principles • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite • Previous internship experience • Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols • Exposure to reflector system design, antenna feed design, solid state amplifier performance parameters, and high power tube amplifier technology • Exposure to instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including scripting or automation for data collection and analysis • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities • Basic engineering skills and interest in how systems are developed and function • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment • Ability to work effectively with others
