Rula supports 90+ conditions (anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, etc. ), provides tools for scheduling and managing appointments, and offers resources like tests/quizzes and a provider directory spanning all 50 states. It serves patients directly and partners with employers, health plans, and health systems, and emphasizes clinical standards, provider reviews, and ongoing professional development.

📋 Description

• Serve as the senior procurement leader, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer • Own Rula’s purchasing process from initial intake request through final contract renewal • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives • Negotiate complex vendor contracts to deliver fair pricing, clear terms, and strong service levels • Own and improve the Zip procurement platform, including intake routing, approval speed, and user experience • Monitor new tools and use AI and automation to improve procurement efficiency • Analyze spend and build financial models • Partner with Finance to align purchasing decisions with budget • Create a proactive renewal tracking system • Maintain a complete, auditable record of vendor commitments • Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, AI, Security, and Finance teams • Build a clear, efficient, and supportive company-wide purchasing process

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive procurement experience • At least 7 years dedicated to strategic sourcing • Demonstrated track record of hands-on sourcing execution and leading/managing procurement teams • Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts • Strong background in spend analysis and financial modeling • Experience aligning purchasing decisions with company budget requirements • Highly analytical approach to assessing procurement needs, evaluating supplier performance, and generating data-driven recommendations • Strong partnership skills with Legal, Privacy, AI, Security, and Finance teams • Practical understanding of legal and regulatory requirements • Experience creating clear, auditable tracking systems for contract renewals and obligations • Ability to manage multiple concurrent sourcing projects, vendor reviews, and deadlines • Ability to create clarity, structure, and priorities in dynamic or rapidly changing environments • Experience using or optimizing the Zip procurement intake platform (preferred) • Prior healthcare or health-tech experience (preferred) • Experience evolving purchasing workflows into scalable, enterprise-grade capabilities (preferred) • Ability to connect procurement initiatives to organizational goals, multi-year strategies, and financial models (preferred) • Experience driving user adoption for new processes or platforms (preferred) • Must be based in the United States; Rula currently does not hire in Hawaii
