📋 Description

• Handle semi-routine assignments related to surplus lines documentation • Retrieve, organize, and deliver surplus lines filings using online systems • Support branch offices and the accounting team with operational activities and procedures • Assist Surplus Lines teams during internal and external audits • Liaise with Underwriting and brokerage teams and Operations to answer questions and service accounts accurately and timely • Assist with implementation and monitoring of account processes • Complete surplus lines state tax returns and prepare checks and payment requests for applicable taxes • Maintain policy filing systems and track critical dates and deadlines • Stay informed about industry changes, company policies, and procedural updates • Participate in training and development opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ years of work experience in Surplus Lines • Business Operations experience preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Operations, or a related field preferred • Knowledge of surplus lines principles, policies, and procedures • Ability to complete state tax returns and prepare related payment requests • Ability to maintain policy filing systems and track critical deadlines • Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements
