• Investigate incidents involving alleged bodily injury and/or property damage. • Review insurance policies and applicable language to determine coverage. • Evaluate liability, damages, and exposure to recommend action plans. • Negotiate settlements and attend mediations when necessary. • Communicate effectively with management, carriers, brokers, policyholders, and legal counsel. • Prepare clear, articulate reports and recommendations for resolution.
• 5-7 years of General Liability claims handling experience (BI & PD). • Experience with both litigated and non-litigated claims. • Strong ability to evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proven ability to provide resolution strategies and articulate action plans. • Mediation and settlement experience preferred. • Active adjuster’s license required.
