📋 Description

• Investigate and evaluate daily property claims on behalf of clients • Manage assigned claims promptly and effectively with minimal oversight • Make claim decisions within delegated authority and company/carrier policies • Interpret policy coverages and apply appropriate claims practices • Establish and communicate reserves aligned with carrier expectations • Maintain current knowledge of insurance policies, guidelines, and industry practices • Apply knowledge of local construction methods, pricing, and repair standards • Submit supplemental reports, including severe incident and ITV reports, as needed • Provide customer service to insureds, clients, and stakeholders • Maintain professional conduct throughout assignments • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Minimum 2 years of experience handling property claims • Minimum 2 years of experience using Xactimate and Symbility estimating software • Strong understanding of insurance policies, practices, and procedures • General construction knowledge strongly preferred • Must qualify as a 1099 contractor under the ABC test: free from company control and direction; work performed outside the usual course of the company’s business; customarily engaged in an independently established trade or business • Responsible for own taxes, insurance, and business expenses • Not classified as an employee of Ryze Claim Solutions • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
