📋 Description

• Act as the primary internal technical lead for third-party security assessments and external vulnerability testing • Coordinate security vendors, manage timelines, and track remediation • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of SIEM capabilities • Establish log analysis pipelines for environment logs and system telemetry • Use AI tools and automation frameworks to improve incident detection, reduce false positives, and automate routine tasks • Develop a proactive threat intelligence review process and disseminate actionable security guidance • Own secure setup, configuration, and baseline hardening of infrastructure, applications, and corporate systems • Create documentation and runbooks and transition hardened systems to the Support team • Manage systems engineering, application onboarding, and lifecycle ownership within EIT • Collaborate with IT Support on handover workflows, threat intelligence, and incident response • Triage security-related findings and requests escalated to DevOps, resolving SecOps issues and forwarding only DevOps-owned matters • Establish logging standards, improve time-to-detection, execute compliance and security initiatives, and reduce unpredictable DevOps ticket volume

🎯 Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or IT Operations • Proven track record of shifting career focus into security operations • Proven experience configuring SIEM platforms, managing log aggregation, and building alerting logic • Hands-on experience with automation scripts, tools, or AI-driven capabilities for security operations • Deep technical knowledge of securing cloud environments, network configurations, identity providers, and enterprise SaaS ecosystems • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects and interface with external third-party security vendors • Ability to translate vulnerability data into actionable remediation steps • Ability to create clear runbooks from complex system architectures • Communication skills to translate technical threat intelligence into updates for non-technical teams • Security-focused certifications such as Security+, CEH, or GISF are highly valued • Cloud/Systems certifications such as AWS or Google certifications are highly valued • Experience with AWS, Google Workspace, infrastructure-as-code, identity and access management, continuous compliance and audit automation, logging, monitoring, and alerting
