📋 Description

• Support SAIC's International Trade Compliance Department and Empowered Officials • Coordinate company licensing activities and ensure compliance with U.S. export/import laws, regulations, and SAIC policies • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on export/import matters to internal customers • Review, edit, submit, and provide feedback on U.S. government licensing activities • Conduct due diligence on international business transactions • Monitor U.S. government policies, regulations, Federal Register Notices, and Export Control Reforms • Develop and conduct export/import compliance training • Develop, manage, and maintain international trade compliance policies, procedures, instructions, and supply chain security practices • Support assessments, spot checks, investigations, disclosures, and coordination with USG enforcement agencies • Track corrective actions in OCR • Review and approve invoices, shipping documentation, and AES entries; coordinate equipment movement with logistics personnel, brokers, and freight forwarders • Support trade compliance risk mitigation during mergers and acquisitions • Identify gaps and implement process improvements • Maintain regulatory records and documentation • Respond to ad hoc International Trade Compliance inquiries • Produce communications and outreach materials and manage outreach platforms • Manage goals, plans, and milestones • Assist with other International Trade Compliance initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience in export/import regulatory compliance related roles; 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree • US citizenship required • No clearance required to start; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance required to maintain employment • Proven practical experience and understanding of ITAR, EAR, U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations, OFAC, and Federal Trade Regulations • Exemplary written and oral communication skills • Superior interpersonal skills • Comfortable consulting with employees company-wide in a confidential environment • Comfortable training multiple audiences and attendees • Advanced Microsoft Office skills • Strong leadership, integrity, and professionalism • Independent judgment in determining reliability of reviewed data • Ability to work clearly and quickly under pressure and manage competing interests • Demonstrated initiative engaging internal clients and program leadership to create compliant solutions
