📋 Description

• Perform and review general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations • Support month-end and year-end close processes • Prepare financial schedules, variance analyses, and internal management reports • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes • Create schedules and support internal reporting packages for finance and accounting leadership • Assist with quarterly and annual financial reporting data, including footnotes and support schedules • Perform compliance ratio calculations and related tasks as needed • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations • Collaborate with cross-functional teams • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities • Prepare financial analysis and respond to stakeholder requests

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting • 4–6 years of accounting experience in public accounting or industry • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounting principles, and internal controls • Strong financial literacy • Experience with general ledger and other financial systems • Experience preparing account reconciliations and analysis • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, or PeopleSoft • Strong communication and presentation skills • Active CPA license or CPA candidacy preferred • Big 4/public accounting or relevant industry background preferred • Oracle EPM/Hyperion or similar financial data tool experience preferred • Advanced Excel skills preferred • Familiarity with SOX compliance or other regulatory frameworks preferred • Exposure to automation or process optimization initiatives preferred
