• Perform in-depth technical reviews and analyses of building design, construction, and operations for compliance with LEED rating systems • Communicate with project teams and owners through written, verbal, and in-person meetings • Provide technical customer service support to project teams • Contribute to the technical knowledge and development of fellow LEED Certification Reviewers • Review forms, calculations, and documentation to verify projects meet LEED rating system requirements • Learn and apply WELL, SITES, and Living Building Challenge criteria • Work as the third-party quality control Reviewer before project submittal to GBCI for formal review • Perform quality assurance review of work completed by other Reviewers • Participate in business development activities, including networking, speaking engagements, and written marketing content • Participate in resource development to improve review knowledge, efficiency, and proficiency • Meet review production, quality, efficiency, and timeliness metrics • Achieve Senior Reviewer status within one year +/- • Demonstrate professional growth through foundational and leadership competencies
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field such as planning, architecture, engineering, sustainable built environment, public policy/administration, construction management, or environmental/sustainability science • LEED AP with specialty preferred • Ability to read, understand, and interpret building floor plans, sections, site plans, construction specifications, mechanical schedules, commissioning reports, and operational policies preferred • Technical understanding of building operations topics such as construction methods, materials specification, fenestration, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, landscape design, master planning, land use, zoning, and urban development preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including technical writing • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills • Personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high-quality work • Ability to work independently and in small groups • Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize • Willingness to self-initiate • Strong computer skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel • Understanding of sustainability standards, tools, and performance criteria • Experience with ISO Standards a plus
