• Serve as the primary clinical contact for prospective patients, providing compassionate guidance and support during their initial interaction with Salma Health. • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including risk evaluations, safety planning, and triage for individuals presenting with behavioral health concerns. • Manage crisis calls and high-risk clinical situations, including suicidality, mandated reporting, and escalation to appropriate emergency resources when indicated. • Educate patients and families on Salma Health's services and treatment options, helping match patients to the most appropriate level of care. • Complete clinical intake and admissions activities, including gathering psychiatric history, reviewing documentation, and coordinating next steps for treatment initiation. • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, care coordinators, and operational teams to ensure seamless transitions throughout the patient journey. • Conduct post-treatment outreach and follow-up assessments to evaluate patient outcomes, identify ongoing care needs, and support continuity of care. • Accurately document all patient interactions, assessments, and clinical recommendations in the electronic health record. • Support quality improvement initiatives by identifying trends, providing clinical feedback, and contributing to operational improvements that enhance patient experience and access to care. • Maintain compliance with all applicable clinical, regulatory, privacy, and documentation standards.
• Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Nursing, or a related behavioral health field. • Active, unrestricted independent clinical licensure required (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LPC, or equivalent). Registered Nurses with applicable psychiatric experience will also be considered. • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience. • Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting psychiatric intake, behavioral health assessments, crisis intervention, or related clinical work. • Demonstrated experience managing high-risk behavioral health situations, including suicide risk assessment, crisis intervention, and mandated reporting. • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to remain calm and empathetic in fast-paced, high-acuity situations. • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy. • Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation platforms. • Must be physically located within the United States. Work may not be performed outside the United States.
