📋 Description

• Identify and develop strategic opportunities for Category Management leadership and key stakeholders • Lead collaborative efforts with other Supply Chain functions and resources • Apply strategic negotiation skills to achieve value beyond product or service pricing • Lead strategic contract negotiations covering financial value and business terms and conditions • Initiate, develop, and manage Requests For Proposals (RFPs) • Analyze, interpret, and translate data into communicable information • Connect strategy to outcomes through understanding organizational requirements and supplier motivations • Participate in and potentially lead development and continuous improvement of Category Management processes • Adhere to federal and state laws and regulations related to contracting and procurement • Plan and implement recurring work using established procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree in a related field required • A minimum of five years related experience required of progressive sourcing and contract negotiation experience, including extensive experience developing and executing strategic sourcing plans, or equivalent experience in a project management or business advisory role • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required • Master's degree level, three years of related experience acceptable • Supply Chain, project management, or contract certification desired
