📋 Description

• Prepare geotechnical reports and calculations for conformity with project specifications • Prepare specifications for subsurface investigations, deep foundations, ground improvement, earth retaining systems, monitoring wells, water production wells, and general earthwork • Advise power project developers to support new utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage, thermal, and other projects • Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects independently to support financing • Develop technical reports for applicable audiences – including owners, developers, governmental agencies and committees, and financiers • Conduct occasional on-site quality surveillance of subsurface exploration programs, pile installation and pile testing

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a geotechnical focus • 5+ years of detailed geotechnical design experience • Experience in working in design of power, transmission, or heavy industry projects • Experience in writing and providing support documentation for Geotechnical Engineering specifications or calculations • Ability to work in a team environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical evaluation report writing
