📋 Description

• Oversee and manage global accounting operations and financial reporting across 14 international entities • Ensure accuracy and adherence to US GAAP and local statutory standards • Direct an international team of approximately 15 finance professionals, primarily based in India • Manage complex multi-entity statutory requirements • Drive process improvements using modern software and AI-driven tools to automate workflows and shorten close timelines • Ensure financial transactions and reporting meet government regulations, compliance requirements, and board, bank, and investor standards • Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and support operational objectives • Lead, inspire, and mentor accounting professionals through change management and operational scaling • Implement and refine accounting policies and procedures to support growth and scalability • Own financial data and reporting integrity for board-level, investor, and executive decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• Deep understanding of US GAAP and hands-on experience in multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction financial consolidations and local statutory reporting for global subsidiaries • Big 4 public accounting background required • Experience in high-growth, hyperscaler, or brand-name technology environments • Proven track record in process automation, workflow optimization, and modernizing manual accounting environments • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP and familiarity with FloQast, Concur, and Tipalti • Experience managing AP, T&E, leases, commissions, corporate card, expense policy management, month-end close, and GL management • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex financial data to executive leadership and board members • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail • Proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience • Active CPA or CMA certification required • Proven experience in a senior accounting leadership role within a growing technology or SaaS company • Preferred location: US East Coast or Central time zone
