📋 Description

• Perform manual testing of an interactive, web-based weather visualization platform • Verify that features related to weather data (e.g., radar, map layers, storm patterns) function as intended and display accurately • Take part in live testing events during tornado outbreaks • Identify, document, and communicate bugs or anomalies clearly • Collaborate with the development team to confirm bug fixes and improve usability • Suggest improvements based on your understanding of weather data and end-user behavior

🎯 Requirements

• A current student in meteorology, climatology, environmental sciences, or a weather-related field OR a self-taught weather enthusiast with a deep understanding of radar maps, forecasting models, and storm tracking • User of different weather applications and weather data sources • Curious, observant, and detail-oriented, with a natural knack for spotting discrepancies • Strong communication skills and ability to document bugs clearly in English • Comfortable using web tools and navigating across browsers and devices • Nice to Have: Familiarity with QA principles (e.g., exploratory testing, regression testing) • Experience using bug tracking or task management tools • Basic knowledge of how data feeds or weather APIs work
