📋 Description

• Conduct on-site and remote audits against Textile Exchange standards according to scheme rules and SCS procedures • Evaluate supply chain traceability, recycled content claims, and relevant production processes • Collect objective evidence and assess compliance with applicable program requirements • Prepare accurate and timely audit reports and supporting documentation • Communicate with SCS program staff and client representatives • Support documentation and closure of audit findings and corrective actions • Maintain auditor competence and stay current with Textile Exchange program requirements • Perform audits and prepare audit documentation; technical review is handled internally by SCS technical staff • Audit manufacturers, processors, recyclers, traders, and other supply chain actors

🎯 Requirements

• Must already be approved and qualified by Textile Exchange to conduct audits for one or more standards: GRS, RCS, CCS, or MMS • Active qualification for GRS, RCS, CCS, or MMS audits • Demonstrated experience conducting Textile Exchange audits within accredited certification systems • Familiarity with Textile Exchange audit procedures, certification processes, and reporting expectations • Relevant professional experience in textile and apparel manufacturing, textile processing or finishing, recycling operations, supply chain traceability systems, or manufacturing sectors using recycled materials • Professional fluency in English • Ability and willingness to travel within Europe • Strong technical writing and documentation skills • Ability to manage multiple audits and deadlines independently • Comfortable conducting both on-site and desk-based audits • Additional European languages are advantageous, including German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, or Turkish • Experience auditing or verifying recycled materials and recycled content claims is strongly valued but not required • Familiarity with mass balance systems, material traceability, or chain-of-custody style verification is strongly valued but not required • ISO Management Systems qualification or experience auditing ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 is strongly valued but not required
