• Work alongside the SDSN Youth leadership team to strengthen relationships with alumni and current members • Contribute to recruitment processes, including outreach, application coordination, and candidate communication • Maintain effective internal communication systems • Support internal administrative aspects of the program • Adhere to SDSN Youth’s code of conduct and SDG guiding principles • Update and maintain internal databases, directories, and contact lists • Maintain accurate, accessible, and current internal documentation • Draft, update, and organize internal documents, guidelines, and templates • Support distribution of internal announcements and updates • Design and implement alumni engagement activities and initiatives • Maintain and update alumni contact databases and records • Support planning and coordination of assembly activities or meetings to promote participation and engagement • Communicate proactively with the team and report consistently to the SDSN Youth Global Manager
• Aged 18–30, with flexibility up to 35 years old • Excellent command of English, including writing, speaking, and listening • Previous experience in student/youth leadership • Strong interest in youth engagement and sustainable development • Passion for SDSN Youth’s mission, the Sustainable Development Goals, and the Paris Agreement on climate change • Proven team player with leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Ability to coordinate and manage workload across several projects and teams • Ability to communicate effectively and report consistently • Sufficient time and resources to commit to the role; candidates with too many overlapping commitments are ineligible • Professional or volunteer work experience, particularly in operations, internal communications, or people and culture • Experience with communications and management software such as Google Suite • Must complete SDSN Youth online induction courses, guidelines review, and other available training • Ability to commit to 10 flexible hours per week • Initial one-year mandate, with a three-month trial period • Ability to communicate proactively with the team
