📋 Description

• Analyze and process complex or technically difficult general liability claims by investigating and gathering information to determine claim exposure • Manage claims through well-developed action plans to timely and appropriate resolution • Manage the litigation process and ensure timely, cost-effective claims resolution • Coordinate vendor referrals for additional investigation and/or litigation management • Lead team meetings and assign accountability for follow-up items • Gather compliance and claims processing information for team meetings • Assist in interviews of adjusters and clerical staff and provide feedback to the hiring manager • Support the team lead with monthly reviews of adjuster workloads, identify trends, and suggest adjustments • May supervise up to three direct reports • Administer company personnel policies and follow staffing standards and training recommendations • Interview, hire, establish performance development plans, and conduct performance discussions • Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required • High School Diploma or GED required • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred • Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred • Experience in Southeast jurisdiction • Florida experience necessary • Florida licensing required • Clear and conceptual thinking ability • Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion • Ability to handle work-related stress • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously • Ability to meet deadlines • Computer keyboarding • Hearing, vision, and talking
