📋 Description

• Investigate and adjust residential and commercial property and casualty claims with little to no supervision • Inspect claims and contact involved parties in a timely manner • Investigate claim circumstances for coverage determination, cause, compensable damages, and reserves • Examine insurance policies and records to determine coverage • Prepare estimates for repair and replacement costs • Interview claimants and witnesses • Negotiate and settle first- and third-party claims • Address salvage and subrogation as required by clients • Maintain client relationships to support repeated business referrals • Perform other assigned duties • Support organizational quality programs • Travel as required

🎯 Requirements

• IIA-AIC designation required • Appropriate state adjuster license required • Two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred • Strong oral and written communication, including presentation skills • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products • Demonstrated commitment to timely reporting • Strong customer service skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and accuracy • Good time management and organizational skills • Ability to work independently or in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies • Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time • Must be able to kneel, squat or bend • Must be able to work outdoors in hot and/or cold weather conditions • Ability to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, and work overhead • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds • Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds • Ability to drive up to 4 hours per day • Continual use of manual dexterity
