📋 Description

• Oversee overall strategy on SEO client accounts • Align internal teams on strategic direction and priorities • Measure strategy effectiveness through rankings, traffic, conversions, leads, revenue, and lifetime value • Communicate SEO findings, problems, and solutions to client stakeholders, including C-level executives • Lead and manage a team of 6–8 people, including onboarding, performance management, coaching, and career development • Grow divisional revenue by retaining clients and pursuing upsell and cross-sell opportunities • Build and maintain empathetic, transparent client relationships • Own executive relationships with CMOs and C-suite stakeholders • Partner with Paid Media, Creative, and Client Engagement on integrated growth recommendations • Advance Seer’s SEO + GEO organic offering and develop repeatable AI-search methodologies • Champion AI innovation by building team fluency, piloting tools and workflows, and sharing learnings • Set strategic direction for SEO and GEO across teams and account teams • Mentor junior team members • Participate in sourcing, interviewing, and selecting new team members • Drive thought leadership through industry trend and test-and-trial knowledge sharing

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be based in the US • Ability to work continental US-based hours • Proven people management experience leading a team of 6–8 people • Experience hiring, coaching, giving hard feedback, and developing people • Hands-on SEO + GEO agency experience across Content Strategy, Enterprise SEO, PR, Paid Media, and/or Analytics • Experience measuring rankings, traffic, conversions, and revenue using data • Deep, hands-on GEO experience with AI Overviews, LLM-powered discovery, and generative search interfaces • Experience testing, implementing, and teaching strategies to improve SEO and GEO visibility • Experience using AI to change individual or team operations • Superb client management skills and comfort communicating with C-level executives • Strong conflict resolution skills • Experience navigating client organizations at the C-suite level, including CMOs • Track record of identifying account-growth opportunities and increasing revenue • Ability to manage time, context-switch, and juggle multiple projects • Willingness to embrace continued learning, innovation, change management, and new tools/processes • Comfort with high-stakes client-facing interactions • Ability to give criticism and feedback
