📋 Description

• Set technology strategy, including architecture, build-vs-buy decisions, platform standards, and appropriate AI applications • Lead and structure a distributed engineering and data team of roughly ten people in Latin America • Ship the roadmap and scale the platform • Complete migration off legacy systems and harden the platform • Ensure the business can increase transaction volume without engineering becoming a bottleneck • Develop the AI layer for qualification, outreach, and internal operations into a durable competitive advantage • Own security, access governance, vendor management, monitoring, documentation, and operational continuity • Serve on the Executive Committee • Partner with the CEO and sales, marketing, and operations leaders to translate business needs into technology execution • Provide strong input on product sequencing while the CEO retains product direction

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in technology, with progressive leadership responsibility and time as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Technology • Experience scaling a team and system from working-but-fragile to reliable-at-volume • Technical depth sufficient to read architecture, challenge design decisions, and evaluate vendors • Real depth in AI-driven architecture, cloud infrastructure, GCP, APIs, integrations, and data • Ability to identify gaps in architecture, tooling, security posture, and processes • Experience leading remote, distributed, and international teams • Comfort with ambiguity, limited resources, and making decisions with incomplete information • Ability to connect technical investments to revenue and defend them to the CEO • Helpful but not required: real estate, proptech, or fintech experience; running a US-based company with a LatAm engineering team; Spanish
