📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the SVP, Accounting & Finance • Lead the month-end and year-end close and prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reporting, and financial analysis • Ensure accounting practices and financial reporting comply with U.S. GAAP • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory, accruals, and reconciliations • Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation • Support annual audits, tax filings, and external financial reporting requirements • Lead and improve cost accounting processes, including product costing, inventory valuation, labor and overhead allocation, and COGS • Analyze production costs, margins, variances, and operational performance and provide actionable insights to management • Partner with operations to improve cost visibility, financial accountability, and operational performance • Develop, document, and implement internal controls and approval processes • Serve as the key finance owner of NetSuite, including configuration, reporting, workflows, controls, and utilization • Evaluate and improve financial systems, processes, and workflows, including automation and integration • Partner with IT and other departments to support operational and reporting needs • Lead, develop, and support the accounting team • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • Strong technical accounting foundation and knowledge of GAAP • CPA required • 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including Controller or senior accounting leadership experience • Strong NetSuite experience • Strong cost accounting experience • Demonstrated experience developing and strengthening internal controls • Proven ability to streamline processes and improve financial systems • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills • Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work at both the detailed accounting level and strategically across the organization
