📋 Description

• Responsible for review of clinical information from providers ensuring it meets Medical Necessity Criteria • Knowledge of medical necessity criteria for behavioral health and substance use services • Ensures appropriate and accurate claims information is entered for processing of payment

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy REQUIRED • For Registered Nurses, a Bachelor of Science in nursing is REQUIRED • Certification/Licensure REQUIRED license must be valid in state of practice. • Two years of behavioral health REQUIRED • One year of case management REQUIRED • Experience in community based mental health services highly preferred • Utilization Management and Health plan experience preferred
