📋 Description

• Process specific aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing for a managed care organization • Adhere to National Committee for Quality Assurance standards and state and federal regulations • Review, investigate, and process primary source verifications • Credential facility, ancillary, medical, and behavioral providers • Complete credentialing work in a timely and efficient manner • Work under the supervision of a Credentialing Supervisor/Manager

🎯 Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required • Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience required • Thorough knowledge of managed care provider credentialing and re-credentialing principles, methods, regulations, and procedures • Direct work experience with a Credentials Verification Organization (CVO), MCO, HMO, or hospital-based credentialing organization • CPCS – Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist preferred • Experience using Credential Stream is a plus • Experience using MDStaff or Cactus preferred • No certification or license required • Ability to work 8am to 5pm EST, Monday through Friday
