• Manage all aspects of patient enrollment, reimbursement processes, and service coordination • Provide drug coverage support to physicians and patients • Follow up on private and provincial drug-plan coverage submissions • Ensure timely access to prescribed treatments • Enroll patients in the Patient Support Program • Collaborate with patients, insurers, and physicians on reimbursement documentation • Investigate public and private insurers and support employer escalations • Review patient status, charts, previous therapies, and tests • Assist physicians with public and private coverage documentation • Provide therapy guidelines and program education • Conduct patient financial eligibility assessments • Coordinate and track patient services • Report Adverse Events and Severe Adverse Events according to approved SOPs • Maintain case-management service levels and program KPIs • Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool with patient and clinic information • Collaborate with internal patient support teams • Provide feedback to the Program Manager on service quality, training, and other areas • Identify coverage obstacles and escalate them to program leadership • Complete timesheets, expenses, mileage, CRM validation, and other reports • Travel up to 30% as requested within Quebec • Perform additional duties as requested by the Manager
• A Bachelor’s degree • 2-3 years of experience in Patient Support Program • Bilingualism (English and French) is required • Experience with reimbursement billing, special access, the appeals process, and conducting field-based reimbursement support and consultation is an asset • Knowledge of private and public reimbursement structure, systems, and the process is an asset • Experience in oncology, rare disease considered an asset • Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry • Must be able to work from home and have a quiet, private home office space • Strong analytical skills including interpretation of regulation and legislation • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills • Effective interpersonal skills • Typing skills and ability to be a strong functional user of various computer-based programs • Must have a valid license and access to vehicle to drive for up to 30% travel as required within Quebec
