📋 Description

• Deliver Safety Services to business units, primarily for the trucking book of business • Conduct onsite safety consultations for assigned clients and evaluate underwriting acceptability • Recommend safety enhancements and provide technical safety resources to customers • Complete detailed reports for agents and underwriting on account profiles, risk improvement opportunities, and overall risk opinions • Develop, coordinate, and conduct safety seminars and customer training programs • Promote driver safety awareness and reduce claims • Maintain and demonstrate expertise in FMCSA compliance, fleet safety, driver management, safety culture development, general liability, and cargo securement/protection • Travel mainly throughout Texas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Arkansas

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with emphasis in the trucking industry • Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and fleet safety best practices • Minimum of 2+ years of advanced knowledge in a safety department in the trucking industry • Effective oral and written communication and human relation skills • Certified Director of Safety (CDS) through NATMI or willing to pursue designation • High level of independence and self-motivation to work from home and manage a large geographic territory • Acceptable motor vehicle record • Ability to perform extensive travel over a large territory • 60% travel required
