📋 Description

• Serve as the Owner’s Representative throughout the full project lifecycle • Manage multiple grocery/supermarket construction projects and locations simultaneously • Lead projects through pre-construction, bidding, permitting, construction, turnover, and closeout • Coordinate and oversee general contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, vendors, and other project stakeholders • Monitor project schedule, budget, scope, quality, and safety • Review construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, schedules, bids, and other project documentation • Review bid results and provide recommendations to the client • Confirm and monitor permitting requirements and project milestones • Conduct regular jobsite visits and monitor construction progress and quality • Review and manage change orders, pay applications, invoicing, and project costs • Identify project risks and develop solutions related to cost, schedule, quality, safety, and scope • Lead and participate in project and client meetings • Provide clear, consistent weekly project reporting and communication • Coordinate punch list, turnover, and final project closeout • Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and vendors • Serve as a trusted advisor and day-to-day construction resource for the client

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of construction multi-site project management experience • Grocery, supermarket, big-box retail, or comparable large-format retail construction experience strongly preferred • Experience managing remodel store construction highly critical • Experience managing multiple projects or locations as part of a larger program or rollout • Strong understanding of pre-construction, estimating/bidding, permitting, scheduling, construction, change management, and closeout • Experience working with general contractors, architects, engineers, and other construction partners • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, scopes, schedules, budgets, and contracts • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environment • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred • Ability to travel nationally 50–70%
