📋 Description

• Receive, log, or prepare samples for analysis according to SGS analytical SOPs • Use basic department-specific instrumentation and analytical methodologies • Perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of preparation instruments/equipment • Assist with validation and MDL studies • Input and maintain technical information supporting laboratory functions and operations • Maintain the Laboratory Notebook where applicable • Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures • Meet daily production targets and ensure hold times and turnaround times are met • Follow safe laboratory practices and maintain a safe working environment • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma and 0-2 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories, required • Associate's degree in chemistry or similar scientific discipline, and 1-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories, preferred • GC experience preferred • Advanced English language skills (Required) • Basic mathematical and reasoning skills (Required) • Basic computer skills (Required) • Ability to lift/carry/push or pull upwards of 25 lbs. on a frequent basis (Required) • Ability to work a 90-day temporary seasonal role • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations
