📋 Description

• Provide leadership, direction, and training to members of the Food Label group • Serve as primary resource for final review of Food Labels for US/CAN compliance and point of contact for technical inquiries • Review and validate work of label review staff • Responsible for interviewing, hiring and managing label review staff • Provide training, guidance, support of review staff • Review Nutritional Label review and provide written results to clients • Communicate with clients regarding technical questions about Label Review and regulations • Conduct employee performance reviews and provide ongoing guidance • Creates and oversees processes within the label review department • Identifies quality related problems and initiates immediate investigation, corrective action, and follow up

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. degree with a concentration in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or other relevant science area • 5-7 years relevant experience • Highly knowledgeable in data reporting, technical requirements and food regulations • Knowledge of LIMS systems
