📋 Description

• Contribute to design projects from inception to launch and beyond • Collaborate with product managers on product requirements and user experience, ease of use, performance, and efficiency of software applications • Produce multiple concepts and prototypes for internal use, usability testing, and customer review • Leverage rapid prototyping and customer interaction to inform design decisions • Work with developers to ensure technical feasibility and guide interfaces through development • Meet with end users to assess and document user needs and use cases • Contribute to high-level design patterns and specifications

🎯 Requirements

• Currently working towards a BA or MA in HCI or a related program • Cross-platform project experience (web, mobile, installed) preferred • Strong systems thinking • UX concepting and wireframing skills • UI architecture and feature scoping skills • Experience with UX design • Fundamental understanding of software • Solid visual sensibilities • Competent-to-expert knowledge of Adobe CC, Figma, and Abstract • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Angular JS, and other web libraries • Knowledge of UI platforms such as Material Design, iOS, and Bootstrap • User-centered design perspective and common UX methodologies • Excellent critical listening, analytical, writing, and presenting skills • Audio or AV/IT product experience preferred • Portfolio of work samples required • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Shure will not sponsor applicants for work visas
