📋 Description

• support throughout the entire Federal budget process from formulation, to spend plan creation, contract closeout, and executing the current fiscal year budget. • Support the development of the FPS FPMD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution reference guide and training to be provided to the regions’ budgetary and financial community. • Consolidate historical financial and budgetary records. • Provide financial and budgetary records management support. • Develop and provide knowledge management support through practices and process documentation. • Provide supporting documents to questions arising about obligations, and • Provide reporting on obligation timeliness, new obligations values vs. contract closeout de-obligations, backlogs, and error rates.

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years demonstrating proficiency in developing and owning work products in Microsoft office suite to include Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, portraying an ability to work independently, maintain attention to detail, and maintain a high standard for work products. • 1 year of professional experience with project management and program analysis, with hands on experience presenting information verbally and facilitating discussions with representatives from all levels of an organization. • 2 years professional experience working in teams, demonstrating interpersonal, team-building, critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. • An interest in learning about Federal financial execution (reimbursables, federal accounting cycle, reconciliations) • Demonstrated capability to independently conduct background research, structure written work products, and articulate findings succinctly • Ability to attain a public trust security clearance. • An interest in working with Federal business systems related to accounting, accountability and financial reporting procedures with the Federal agencies.
