📋 Description

• Build, design, and maintain websites and software applications • Design, write, and edit website content • Execute assignments using web applications, scripts, programming languages, and APIs • Plan upgrades to existing sites with the Director • Map out design and functionality improvements • Select community plugins and built-in features to implement proposed functionality • Work with the team around a cohesive product roadmap • Analyze software requirements by consulting the user community • Provide developer-level support to the user community • Write technical reference documentation for managing websites • Participate in regular project status, planning, partnership, and strategic meetings • Participate as an integral part of the team • Attend professional conferences and meetings • Travel to meet with the larger development team at least once per year • Travel biannually to the Language Technology Conference

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive technical expertise in web development • Experience in website development and SEO • Demonstrated skills in website development • Demonstrated skills in SEO • Demonstrated skills in WordPress, HTML, and CSS • Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, web applications, and web services • Experience with APIs, scripts, and programming languages • PHP coding ability helpful but not required • Good interpersonal communication skills • Good organizational skills • Ability to make decisions in a timely manner • Ability to generate multiple solutions to problems • Ability to quickly learn technical concepts • Ability to work both with a team and independently • Ability to multitask effectively • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience preferred • Servant heart attitude
