📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert in SEO and organic search • Develop and manage a portfolio of 4–6 SEO accounts • Build client relationships and manage projects and deliverables • Drive and execute strategy, innovation, and performance for multiple client SEO strategies • Apply generative AI and LLM expertise to search behavior and optimized strategies • Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO platforms to translate complex data into actionable insights • Lead recurring status and reporting calls and serve as the primary SEO point of contact • Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to clients • Translate channel strategy into time-bound tactical roadmaps • Build and maintain content systems including topic clusters, pillar pages, internal links, and supporting schema • Prioritize performance-based initiatives and drive authoritative content at scale • Research emerging trends in search and AI technologies • Improve SEO delivery processes and efficiency • Review performance data, identify trends, measure initiative impact, and build actionable strategies • Collaborate with measurement, paid media, and creative teams • Support sales with SEO strategy proposals and audits

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of agency experience • 5+ years of overall relevant marketing/SEO experience • Previous experience at a performance marketing agency • Comfortable building rapport, establishing expertise/credibility, and serving as the face of SEO engagements with clients • Strong ability to navigate complexity and tackle challenges head on • Hands-on experience optimizing for AI search, including actual tests • Ability to build and execute SEO strategies across multiple industries • Ability to tie SEO wins to measurable business impact • Expert content strategy based on audience, keyword, and competitor research • Strong ability to craft content briefs for content teams • Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog • Project and time management skills • Adaptability and willingness to improve • Must be comfortable talking directly to clients
