📋 Description

• Lead the SAP finance initiative within a discrete manufacturing environment • Partner with finance and IT teams to deliver configuration and enhancements • Deliver FICO, discrete manufacturing, and SCM implementations and support across core financial processes • Serve as project manager on smaller-scope projects • Manage a team responsible for SAP package software application implementation through configuration and development • Lead workshops to determine system requirements and document findings • Lead projects, allocate resources, and ensure on-time delivery • Configure FI, CO, and associated SAP modules • Provide functional specifications for technical development • Identify and address technical and operational challenges proactively • Monitor and report on project progress and financial metrics • Promote continuous improvement and learning • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members • Foster teamwork and effective communication • Establish and maintain long-term executive relationships through billable advisory services • Manage full-lifecycle implementation of FI, CO, and associated SAP modules for discrete manufacturing and Made-to-Order processes leveraging variant configuration • Provide post-implementation support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 8+ years of relevant industry work experience • Minimum 3+ years in a similar role • Relevant experience in software engineering and management • Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies • Proven experience in team management and software project execution • Solid technical knowledge of package applications • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills • Experience leading requirements sessions and workshops • Experience leading a project while serving as the FICO lead on a mid-sized company SAP GROW or RISE implementation • Experience with SAP FICO, FI, CO, discrete manufacturing, SCM, Made-to-Order processes, and variant configuration • Ability to operate independently in fast-paced environments • US citizenship or green card preferred for this requirement • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as an MBA, is a plus
