📋 Description
• Scenario modeling, geoprocessing, and analysis of the key factors driving the advance of urbanization; • Characterization of the green area under study, including historical land-use analysis based on document reviews and satellite imagery; • Definition of the reference scenario — current baseline; • Definition of the alternative scenario — counterfactual scenario without current operations; • Simulation of the previously defined scenarios (Current - baseline/status quo; Counterfactual - business as usual); • Quantification of avoided biodiversity loss.
🎯 Requirements
• Education: Master’s degree; • Fields of study: Geography, Environmental Engineering, Geoprocessing, Mathematics; • English proficiency: Intermediate to Advanced.
